Photographing an Old Man in LA, December 1977

This is me at "work" back in 1977 photographing candidly using my twin lens reflex on the streets. Not directly confronting a subject initially by turning the camera sideways when exposing the film became a trademark technique of mine that usually kept me out of trouble and allowed me to get a photo that was very natural and unstaged. This was taken by a friend named Lonie Stimac.
