Squirrel in Search of Filberts

This is a very busy squirrel we watched overhead working in a wild filbert (hazelnut) tree in the Tualatin Hills Nature Park. These squirrels were very acrobatic in their search for nuts. This was taken in July 2009.

Doe Deer with a Fawn

This was taken on a hot evening in July 2009 at the Tualatin Hills Nature Park. There was another fawn just out of view in this photograph who also followed its mother.
